About Brian Knutsen, OTR/L, CHT & Owner

Brian Knutsen, a Fairhaven, MA native, graduated from Fairhaven High School in 1992 and earned his BS from Quinnipiac University in 1996. His upper extremity rehabilitation training began in 1995 during a 12-week clinical affiliation at the West Los Angeles Veterans' Center, followed by clinical training at St. Luke’s Hospital's Hand Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic in Dartmouth, MA in 1996. From December 1996 to December 2005, Brian served as a hand specialist at SouthCoast Hospitals Group sites, where he also developed Tobey Hospital’s hand therapy program and served as clinical resource specialist for Tobey and St. Luke's Hospitals.

Since becoming a Certified Hand Therapist in 2004, Brian has built strong relationships with local physicians and healthcare providers, gaining extensive experience in treating a wide range of upper extremity conditions. His goal at Buzzards Bay Hand Therapy, LLC is to offer the highest quality care in a personal and tranquil setting.
